Residents in Louisville, Kentucky who are petitioning the court under Casey’s Law may be able to receive financial assistance for the two required evaluations by qualified healthcare professionals through the CITIZENS Attacking Addiction “Casey’s Law Assessment Scholarship Program” (CLASP).
CITIZENS Attacking Addiction (CAA) will pay a qualified healthcare provider a subsidy* for the qualified physician, and a subsidiary* for the second qualified provider. A qualified healthcare provider is a professionally certified individual required to perform the evaluation and complete the Casey’s Law certification forms.

Residents within CAA-LIFT’S Louisville service region who suffer from a substance use disorder may be able to receive a scholarship for long term residential inpatient treatment through the CAA LIFT Scholarship Program. LIFT may pay a *subsidy for long term residential inpatient treatment (90 days or more) for adults. Detoxification is not covered in the scholarship.
